Take-Out Gift Box
DIRECTIONS

Supplies:
1 Unassembled Take-Out Box
2 12x12 Sheets of Decorative Paper
Stamps & Ink
Ribbon

Trace the take-out box onto the 12 x 12 decorative paper. Center one of the pieces of 12 x 12 paper on the box and glue in place. Cut the remaining piece into strips and glue to the outer edge of the unassembled take-out box. Fold the take-out box on the creases and assemble the box.

Take a piece of 5/8 in ribbon and glue or tape in place along the outside edge of the box—covering the paper seam where the paper strips meet. Attach the rope handle. For a more rigid handle—take a fuzzy craft pipe cleaner and wrap the rope handle around it before attaching to the box. Tie ribbon pieces to the rope handle—filling the entire handle.

Attach embellishments of your choice to the outside of the box to decorate. Stamped images to coordinate with the gift theme is a great enhancement. Create a 3D effect by cutting out the image and using foam tape or pop dots to attach the image to the box.

Note: Another idea would be to stamp directly on the undecorated, flat box—just make sure to stamp prior to assembling the box.
