FEATURED PROJECTS FROM

For a delightful surprise, make a clever Book In A Tin
using glass topped aluminum containers!

Hide them with the Easter Eggs.

Here's how:

1. Choose a large punch to make several cardstock cut-outs. (Marvy/Uchida makes a 1.5" circle punch that fits the 41mm tin and a 2.25" circle punch that fits the 70mm tin.)

2. Stamp and color the punched shapes as desired.

3. Lay the punched shapes side by side, decorated sides facing down, with a small space (approximately 1/4") between each one. Check that you have arranged the shapes in the order you want them to show in your "book". Apply a thin layer of crafting glue to the back of each shape, and lay a ribbon across the entire length so it is centered on the shapes.

4. Press a second punched shape on top of each piece as a backing. (In other words, you're making a ribbon sandwich, with the ribbon as the filling.) Let glue dry.

5. If you wish, you can even add music to your
Book In A Tin™! Use crafting glue to adhere an electronic music button to the inside bottom of the tin. With a piece of foam tape, cover the button with a punched shape stamped with our C1-450 Push Here.

6. Lay the ribboned "book" pieces into the tin accordion-style, one by one, in reverse order (last piece first, so that the beginning of your message ends up on top).

Place the glass-topped lid on top, and you're done!
